Chalk your cue tip and get practising, as were planning a Pool night in your very own Freethorpe Sports and Social Club on Friday 16th February.

 

We're looking for up to 16 players (more if demand is there) to come and enjoy a night of pool. It will be a one game straight knockout format, see details further below. Entry fee will be £2 per entrant.

 

On this occasion it will be for adults (18+ only) but if there is demand for an under 18's tournament, we will definitely look at that in the future. Any future under 18's Pool night wouldn't be a cash prize event.

 

So let us know below or by message, if you are interested in taking part yourself or on behalf of someone else.

 

Need somewhere to practice, we're open Friday's 7pm-11pm and Sunday's 2pm to 7pm.

 

Format:

- Players names will be drawn to determine who plays who in the first round and who breaks (first name drawn will break)

- Games will be free of charge

- The winner of game A will play the winner of game B and so on

- The winner of the final game will receive at least 70% of the prize fund

- The runner up will get up to 30% of the prize fund

- The prize fund will be the total entry fee collected rounded up to the next £10 value (Eg: Total entry fees of £32 would be rounded up to £40)

- In the above example the winner will receive £30 and the runner up £10
